GONE BUT NOT FORGOTTEN:

HEART'S DELIGHT MISS LIBBY

4/13/96 - 5/1/08

This picture was taken 10-22-07.  Miss Libby was partially bottle-raised, after her brother, "Chew-Chew Charlie", chewed off one of her ears and started on the other one!  Miss Libby was one of my sweetest, friendliest does, and a real favorite.  She almost always had triplets.

sire: Stonewall's Along Came Jones
  ss:  Brush Creek Shiloh
  sd:  Stonewall's Chocolate Anna
dam: Heart's Delight Ivy
  ds:  Stonewall's King of Hearts
  dd:  Heart's Delight Sunshine

ROUNDABOUT STUDLEY

5/15/93 - 2007

Studley had a wonderfully sweet personality!  One of my favorite goats.  We have kept one of his sons from 2003, Roundabout Monroe.  Monroe looks a lot like his sire and has a similar personality.

sire: Roundabout Cricket
  ss:  Pine Cone Valley Darwin
  sd:  Pine Cone Valley Jillian
dam: Roundabout Starlet
  ds:  Pine Cone Valley Legend
  dd:  Island Capri's Niblet

ROUNDABOUT FURLEY

5/23/00 - 6/25/08

Furley was one of quadruplets.  He got his name because when he was born, one of his ears was curled up.  I ALMOST hoped it would stay that way - it was very cute.  It took a few weeks, but it gradually unfurled.  Furley was quite friendly, but had his "bucky" moments!  His dam's side of the family was ALL black & white - his sire and sire's parents were tricolored.

sire: Roundabout Maharajah
  ss: Roundabout Destiny
  sd: Stonewall's Mariah
dam: Roundabout Beatrice
  ds: Pine Cone Valley Legend
  dd: Roundabout Bessie

ROUNDABOUT TRIQUAD
(aka "Trikey")

DOB 7/13/97 (one of a set of quadruplets)

This picture was taken 10-22-07.  Triquad got her name because she was born in a set of quadruplets and she was tricolored.  "Trikey" wass the dam of the beautiful spotted doe Persia, and was one of my friendliest does.

SOME EARLY ROUNDABOUT GOATS

This picture of two goats from my herd appeared in the 1993 spiral-bound book, Nigerian Dwarfs: Colorful Miniature Dairy Goats, but was titled Schumann's Nigerians in Cozy Shelter.  I had sold the goats shortly before this picture was taken.
