ROUNDABOUT PERSIAN PRINCESS
(aka PERSIA)

DOB 6/8/02  (born a single)

PERSIA'S BACK  :>)  after living at Old Mountain Farm for a while.

Persia is a very flashy "marbled" doe, black, white and tan.

ROUNDABOUT MMP TAPIOCA PUDDIN'
(aka PUDDIN')

DOB 6/15/06 (she's a twin)

sire: Roundabout Mister Mosaic
     ss: Roundabout Yin-Yang
     sd: Roundabout Persian Princess

dam: Roundabout Persian Princess
     ds: Roundabout Maharajah
     dd: Roundabout Triquad

This picture was taken 5-22-08.  Puddin' is light gold with white markings.  Both of her parents (and her sister) are moonspotted, and she has passed on moonspots to some of her kids.

DOE

ROUNDABOUT CHOCOLATE BRULEE
(aka BRULEE)

DOB 6/15/06 (she was a twin)

sire: Roundabout YinYang
     ss: Roundabout Furley
     sd: Stonewall's Mariah

dam: Roundabout Triquad
     ds: Stonewall's Nugget
     dd: Tourmaline Farm Black Beauty

Brulee is brown & black with a little white.  Her parents are the ones that produced the wildly colored Roundabout Persian Princess, so this doe may very well pass on some flashy coloring to her kids.  She went to another farm for a while this winter, where she was bred and had triplet doe kids.  I missed her, but now she's back here.

DOE   FOR SALE

ROUNDABOUT MOON AND STARS
(aka MOONY)

DOB 6/1/07 (she was a twin)

sire: Roundabout Mister Mosaic
      ss: Roundabout Yin-Yang
      sd: Roundabout Persian Princess ("Persia)

dam: Roundabout Persian Princess ("Persia")
     ds: Roundabout Maharajah
     dd: Roundabout Triquad

Moony is for sale.  I really hate to sell her, but need to make some space here. She is black with moonspots; has been disbudded and is friendly.   Moony's dam, Roundabout Persian Princess, has fantastic coloring, and is on both sides of this doe's pedigree, so she has a good chance of passing that on to her kids.  I called her "Moon and Stars" because she has the moon on her left side, with smaller "stars" on both sides.  Moony is rather small, but in December 2008 gave birth to twins (Roundabout Flip Wilson & Roundabout Geraldine - see "For Sale" page) with no problems and had plenty of milk for them.    $400.00

STONEWALL'S GRACE NOTE
(aka GRACIE)

DOB 4/21/99  (a triplet)

Gracie, a very sweet and very prolific doe, joined us here in 2007, already bred.  She had sextuplets in February, 2008 for the third time!  She has also had quintuplets in the past.  Unfortunately, there are only 2 kids surviving from the 2008 kidding: a buck, 5 Acre Farm Herald (sold) and the doe 5 Acre Farm Mayzen Grace (see below).  In 2009 Gracie had twin bucks, and will now be retiring.

sire: Stonewall's Apocalypse Now
  ss: Stonewall's Raising Arizona
  sd: Stonewall's Lily Dale
dam: Goodwood Tinkerbelle
  ds: Goodwood Kauri Tree
  ds: Goodwood Guadalupe

DOE

5 ACRE FARM MAYZEN GRACE
(aka "Mayzen")

DOB 2/6/08  (one of a set of sextuplets)

Mayzen was born with her head back - I was surprised she made it!  The surviving doe of the sextuplets (4 does, 2 bucks - her brother 5 Acre Farm Herald has been sold) born to Gracie in February 2008, Mayzen is a sweetheart.  She and Gracie adopted bottle-baby Kaye as part of their family.  Mayzen just had her first kids in June 2009, a set of triplets (see Kids page).

   ss: Woodhaven Farm Neon Eclipse

ROUNDABOUT EAR-THA KAYE KIDD
(aka "Kaye", "KK", "Miss Kaye")

DOB 4/30/08  (twin)

These pictures were taken on 8-18-08.  We lost Kaye's dam Miss Libby just 4 hours after she kidded, so Kaye was bottle-raised (and is rather spoiled, of course!)  She was accepted by Gracie and her kid Mayzen as part of their family (not for nursing, though) so Kaye had companionship and was able to stay in the barn and be part of the herd.  Her dam was a favorite of mine and I wanted to have Kaye's name refer to her in some way.  Miss Libby was missing an ear (due to an injury), and Kaye has one brown ear, so I started with the name Ear-tha.  The full name is also a tribute to a woman I knew in my childhood (Kay) and to the singer Eartha Mae Kitt.

sire:  Roundabout Sir Spots-A-Lot

ss:  Roundabout Yin-Yang
  sd:  Roundabout Persian Princess
dam: Heart's Delight Miss Libby

  ds:  Stonewall's Along Came Jones
  dd:  Heart's Delight Ivy

DOE

ROUNDABOUT CHUN KEE MUN KEE
(aka "KiKi")

DOB 4/23/08  (twin)

KiKi is all white, except for a tan patch on her right leg .   She also has a very small black "dot" in front of her left eye.

KiKi's dam (Sassy) has a small extra teat on one side of her udder.  This extra teat is non-functional and has never caused a problem.  None of her kids has ever had any extra teats.  Though I can't prove it since I do not milk my goats, it seems that Sassy produces plenty of milk.   One of her relatives (related on both sides of her pedigree), Painted Acres Silly Millie, was in a milking herd.

sire: Roundabout Yin-Yang     * see buck page for another generation of Yin-Yang's pedigree
  ss: Roundabout Furley
     sss: Roundabout Maharajah
     ssd:  Roundabout Beatrice
  sd: Stonewall's Mariah

     dds:  Painted Acres Jasper
     ddd:  Painted Acres Orangena

ROUNDABOUT HOT FUDGE
(aka "Fudgie")

DOB 5/9/08  (twin)

This doe is all chocolate, but may throw spotted kids when bred. (Her sister, Roundabout Rocky Rhoda, has moonspots.  Rhoda has been sold.) I didn't really want to sell Fudgie, but need to make space here.  Fudgie has possibly been bred by Bronson.  $400.00.

sire: Roundabout Crown Prince Monroe
   ss: Roundabout Studley
     sss:  Roundabout Cricket
     ssd:  Roundabout Starlet
   sd: Heart's Delight Miss Libby

RETIRED DOES

Two of our older girls,

Heart's Delight Ivy (DOB 2/19/95) and her daughter Roundabout Iris (DOB 6/30/97)

This photo was taken on 5-27-09

(Yes, Ivy had only one front leg, due to an accident many years ago.  I never bred her after that, but she always got along extremely well on 3 legs, literally RUNNING with the herd.  Sadly, I had to have her put down recently - she was declining at the age of 14-1/2, and her one front leg/foot had become too painful.)

RETIRED DOE

ROUNDABOUT IRIS

DOB 6/30/97 (a triplet)

This picture was taken 10-22-07.   She's a half-sister to Miss Libby (now gone).  Dam-raised, but very sweet and friendly, and one of my favorites.  (But aren't they all!)

sire: Stonewall's Nugget
  ss:  Brush Creek Shiloh
  sd:  Goodwood Tinkerbelle
dam: Heart's Delight Ivy
  ds:  Stonewall's King of Hearts
  dd:  Heart's Delight Sunshine

RETIRED DOE

ROUNDABOUT SASSAFRASS
(aka SASSY)

DOB 6/25/97  (a triplet)

sire: Roundabout Destiny
  ss:  Roundabout Cricket
     sss:  Pine Cone Valley Darwin
     ssd:  Pine Cone Valley Jillian
  sd:  Roundabout Starlet
     sds:  Pine Cone Valley Legend
     sdd:  Island Capris' Niblet
dam: Painted Acres Ginger Snap
  ds:  Painted Acres Jasper
     dss:  Roundabout Buster Brown
     dsd:  Old Orchard Magic Jupiter
  dd:  Painted Acres Orangena
     dds:  Roundabout Buster Brown
     ddd:  Wells Farm Tammy

Sassy is a sweetheart, and a very good mother.  Though I can't prove it since I do not milk my goats, it seems that Sassy produces plenty of milk.   One of her relatives (related on both sides of her pedigree), Painted Acres Silly Millie, was in a milking herd.  I took Sassy out of retirement to breed her "one last time" in 2008.  She did so well that I bred her again in 2009 - this time is definitely the last time!  Sassy kidded with twins and has plenty of milk.

RETIRED DOE

ROUNDABOUT FLAME

DOB 6/16/96  (a triplet)

This photo of Flame was taken 10-22-07.  Flame is retired.

sire: Stonewall's Nugget
  ss: Brush Creek Shiloh
  sd: Goodwood Tinkerbelle

dam: Tourmaline Farm Bettina
  ds: Stonewall's Jumpin Jack Flash
  dd: Rocky Hills Miniature Pandora
