Hi!  We're Linda and Irving.

We have been raising NIGERIAN DWARF GOATS** since 1987 here at ROUNDABOUT MINIFARM in Waterboro, Maine.  So to begin, we have posted some pages with pictures and information on some of our goats.  (More to come) Some of the pages show the goats we have for sale.

**We have just added a page to show the pedigrees for some of our goats and their ancestors.  More to be added as time allows.

We also have a page about our fantastic HAIRLESS AMERICAN TERRIERS, Bare Louise and Gary.

Eventually we will add pages for the handcrafted RENEW'D RELICS items that Linda makes from recycled and found materials.

We sell various items at group shops and flea markets under the name FUNKY & FUN, so we'll feature some of those items here as well.

So check back periodically!

OTHER MEMBERS OF OUR FAMILY:

Over the years we've had potbellied pigs, ferrets, Muscovy ducks, bantam ducks, bantam & standard chickens of many breeds, guinea fowl, peafowl, geese, a pet turkey, dwarf & standard rabbits, a miniature horse, a rescued pony, llamas, many cats, a wolf hybrid and various large & small dogs...as well as (many years ago) a pet skunk rescued from a caged existence, a rescued fantail pigeon, and a couple of rescued squirrels, not to mention the baby black bears we fostered for a while...

It's considerably quieter around here now, with only the goats, two dogs, and our two new kittens...but somehow they still keep us very busy!

November 2009 update:  We have two new kittens!

We have been cat-less (a first for Linda) since we had to have our almost-19 year old cat Ollie put down last May.  Recently we adopted 2 young cats from a shelter - they are sisters, found abandoned as very young kittens.  We estimate that they are about 4  months old.

Above is Snickers (named at the shelter).

This is Taffy (she was named S'mores at the shelter).

This is Ollie, born in 1990.  As an adult, he voluntarily moved outside to become a barn cat.  In his last few years, I  convinced him to move inside the house during the cold weather.  He and our dog Bare Louise loved each other, and it was really neat to see them bumping heads and giving each other love-bites!

On May 22, 2009 we had to have Ollie put down   :>(    He would have been 19 years old in August.
